Connect Bulenox with Rithmic and NinjaTrader
A controlled step-by-step guide for beginners who want to connect a Bulenox Qualification or Master account to NinjaTrader Desktop via Rithmic.
01 / Introduction
Three systems.
A chain of connections.
Bulenox provides the account model, access conditions and trading rules. Rithmic forms the technical connection for market data, account information and order transmission. NinjaTrader® Desktop is the interface for charting, analysis, manual order placement and supported automation.
A functioning technical connection neither confirms compliance with the Bulenox rules nor a subsequent payout. Check account, rules and order parameters separately.
02 / Basics
What does
prop trading mean?
With prop trading, the user does not simply receive a freely available amount of money. He uses a contractually defined account within a rule-based technical environment. Qualification and master accounts may be simulated depending on the current contract model.
The current Bulenox conditions are always decisive: among other things, permitted products, position sizes, drawdown, trading times, consistency and payout rules. These instructions do not replace your examination.
Neither the existence of a qualification nor a master account guarantees winnings or payouts.
03 / Preparation

The access data for the Bulenox website and the Rithmic access data are not necessarily identical. The Rithmic data shown in the Bulenox member area is required for the trading connection.
04 / Account
Choose a Bulenox
account.
Choose an account model based on the currently published rules. Prices, goals and limits are deliberately not fixed here because they can change. Before purchasing, check in particular the account type, drawdown model, permitted contracts, fees and withdrawal conditions.

05 / Installation
Activate
R | Trader Pro™.
- 01Open official download
Obtain R | Trader Pro™ only through Bulenox or the official Rithmic website.
- 02Install software
Run the installer and then open the application.
- 03Log in with Rithmic details
Use user ID and password from the Bulenox member area. Never publish access data.
- 04Confirm agreements
Fully read and respond to required Rithmic Terms and Market Data Agreements.
- 05Control account
Check in the dashboard whether the assigned Bulenox account is visible.

06 / Installation
NinjaTrader®
install.
- 01Open official account portal
Log in with NinjaTrader® user account or create an account.
- 02Install desktop version
Download and run the latest Windows installer from the account portal.
- 03Sign in
Open NinjaTrader® with the NinjaTrader® user account. This access is to be distinguished from the Rithmic access.
- 04Enable multi-provider
If necessary, activate the “Multi-provider” option under Tools or Settings → Options and restart the platform.

07 / Configuration
Set up the Rithmic connection exactly.
The following configuration corresponds to the currently published Bulenox instructions for NinjaTrader® Desktop. If the provider provides different information, the newer official instructions always apply.
- 01Open Control Center
Bring the Control Center to the foreground in NinjaTrader®.
- 02Connections → Configure
Open the “Connections” menu and select “Configure”.
- 03Add connection
Add “Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage” from “Available”. Depending on the version, the name may start with “My”.
- 04Enter access data
Use the Rithmic User ID and associated password from the Bulenox member area. Carefully check upper and lower case letters as well as spaces.
- 05Set system
Select “Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago)”.
- 06Disable plug-in mode
Leave “Plug-in mode for market data” disabled when connecting NinjaTrader® alone. If the bridge configuration is deliberately operated in parallel, the current provider instructions apply.
- 07Name and storage
Name the connection “Bulenox”, then select “Apply” or “OK”.
08 / connection
Connect and
Check account.
- 01Open Connections
Select the previously created connection “Bulenox”.
- 02Wait for status
Only continue when NinjaTrader® displays a green connection status.
- 03Control account
In the Control Center, check whether the expected Bulenox account is displayed.
- 04Check before every order
Consciously control the currently selected account in each order window.
09 / Account mode
Not all simulation
is the same.
NinjaTrader® Simulation
Platform local simulation account. Orders are not assigned to the Bulenox account.
Qualification/Masters
Rules-based account provided by the provider. It may be technically simulated, but remains separate from the local Sim101.
Global simulation mode
In NinjaTrader®, forces simulation and prevents the selection of external accounts while the mode is active.
Only deactivate Global Simulation Mode when the Bulenox account is correctly connected and the user consciously wants to select this account.
Do not send careless live, test or “trial orders”. Check account status and rules outside of an order first.

11 / Troubleshooting
Check typical errors systematically.
Login fails
Use Rithmic access instead of Bulenox website login. Check capitalization, spaces and password.
Agreements open
R | Open Trader Pro™ and complete required Rithmic and market data agreements.
Wrong system
For the environment described here, compare “Rithmic Paper Trading (Chicago)” with the official Bulenox instructions.
Plug-in mode active
Disable when connecting via NinjaTrader® alone. Only set differently for deliberately configured parallel/bridge use.
Multi-provider is missing
Activate under Tools/Settings → Options; Restart NinjaTrader® if necessary.
No market data
Check data agreement, eligibility, system status and trading time. Consider weekend maintenance.
Account is missing
In R | Check Trader Pro™. If it is missing there too, the provider activation may not have been completed yet.
Status yellow or red
Read connection log and exact error message, check internet and use official support guide.
Wrong account
Check the account selection before each order. Keep Sim101 and the Bulenox account clearly separate.
12 / Routine
Daily
startup routine.
- Start NinjaTrader®
- Establish connection “Bulenox”.
- Check green connection status
- Check account and current drawdown
- Check instrument and contract month
- Check ATM or strategy and number of units
- Only act after complete control
13 / Privacy Policy
Credentials
remain private.
- Do not show login details in videos, streams or screenshots
- Do not store, share or document passwords publicly
- Completely black out account numbers, user IDs, names and email addresses
- Note changes to Bulenox, Rithmic and NinjaTrader® instructions
- If there are any deviations, always use the current official instructions
